Bassée, Nikolaus Bassermann, Albert

  • Biographical Presentation

    Die Familie geht auf Johann Christoph Bassermann zurück, der Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts in Heidelberg lebte. Mit seinen Söhnen Friedrich Daniel und Wilhelm teilte sich die Familie in zwei Linien. Von Wilhelm stammen ab Alfred s. (2) und Ernst s. (3). Von Friedrich Daniel stammen ab: Albert s. (1), Friedrich Daniel s. (5), Ernst s. (4). Friedrich Daniels ältester Sohn Emil (1835–1915) heiratete 1864 Auguste, die Tochter Ludwig Andreas Jordans (1811–1883), Weingutsbesitzers in Deidesheim, Mitglieds des bayerischen Landtags und des Zollparlaments. Nach dessen Tod erhielt Emil Bassermann (Vater von →Ernst Bassermann, s. 4) von König Ludwig II. von Bayern die Genehmigung, den Namen Bassermann-Jordan zu führen.
