Biographical Presentation
Ratsgeschlecht in Weißenburg (Franken), das zahlreiche Pfarrer, Beamte und Gelehrte hervorgebracht hat. Alexander war einer der ersten in Weißenburg, der sich der Reformation anschloß (1525). Es gehören auch dazu: →Christian Albrecht (1714–89), Professor der Theologie in Rostock (siehe ADB V, RGG) und →Gustav (1863–1939), Dr. rer. techn. honoris causa, Dr.-Ing. Ehren halber, Generaldirektor der Maschinenbaugesellschaft in Karlsruhe, der die Konstruktion der Lindeschen Eismaschinen verbesserte.
