  • Biographical Presentation

    Die Ehe →Ludwigs des Bayern mit B. ist ohne Beziehung auf dessen künftige Königswürde unter dem Gesichtspunkt eines deutschen Territorialfürsten geschlossen worden. Da B. bereits wenige Wochen vor der Schlacht von Mühldorf, in der →Ludwig sich als deutscher König durchsetzte, starb und →Ludwig bis 1319 nur neben seinem älteren Bruder →Rudolf als Herzog regierte, ist sie, abgesehen von privaten Beurkundungen, politisch weder als Herzogin noch als Königin hervorgetreten.
