  • Biographical Presentation

    A. lebte nach dem Tode ihres Mannes in Königsfelden, ihrer und ihrer Mutter Gründung, hielt dort einen kleinen Hof und vertrat die habsburgische Politik und die habsburgischen Interessen in den Vorlanden. Bei ihren Brüdern stand sie in hohem Ansehen, sie verwies diese ständig auf die Wichtigkeit der Vorlande für die Habsburger. Sie verhinderte den Ausbruch der Feindseligkeiten in den Stammlanden gegen ihren Bruder →Albrecht II. und vermittelte im Zwist zwischen →Albrecht II. und den Waldstätten und Zürich. Ihr „Gebetbuch“ enthält die älteste deutsche Mariensequenz.
