Biographical Presentation
Graß: Michael G. d. j., Jurist, geboren zu Wolgast am 5. Februar 1657, studirte in Greifswald, 1683 in Tübingen Hofmeister bei dem Grafen Wilh. Friedr. von Solms-Braunfels, 1687 außerordentlicher Professor am dortigen Collegium illustre und Doctor der Rechte, 1692 ordentlicher Professor an der Universität und später am Collegium illustre, sowie Assessor primarius des Hofgerichts; starb am 25. Juli 1731. Schriften: „Collationes juris civ. rom. cum recessibus imperii“ etc., Tubing. 1723, 4. Er dedicirte diese Schrift Kaiser Karl VI., lehnte aber die ihm zur Belohnung angebotene Stelle am Reichshofrath und andere Gnadenbezeugungen ab. Eine große Zahl von Dissertationen von ihm verzeichnen Lipenius und Jöcher. Rechtsgutachten und kurze Lebensbeschreibung in Nova coll. Consil. Tubingens., vol. V.
