  • Biographical Presentation

    Die Familie ist in der Gegend südlich von Eger (Böhmen) seit Mitte 14. Jahrhunderts nachweisbar. Sie verlor 1634 ihren Besitz und wurde in Franken ansässig. Die sichere Stammreihe beginnt mit dem fuldaischen Amtsvogt Wilhelm Dionys († 1684) in Hammelburg und Neuhof. Dessen Enkel Johann Wilhelm wurde Quartiermeister der Leibgarde in Darmstadt. Der in Deutschland nicht geführte Adel wurde 1895 in Preußen anerkannt.
