Biographical Presentation
Baldung: Pius Hieronymus B., aus Schwäbisch-Gmünd, Neffe des Kaspar B. 1506 in Freiburg immatriculirt und J. U. D., liest Humaniora und Institutionen, tritt 1510 als Rath in die vorderösterreichische Regierung zu Ensisheim; im J. 1532, wo Zasius ihm seinen Tractatus substitutionum dedicirte, war er Kanzler.|Im J. 1511 entdeckte er in der Abtei Murbach¶ die später verlorene Handschrift des Cajus epitom. und Paulus, welche er Zasius und Amerbach mittheilte.
