  • Biographical Presentation

    A. arbeitete in seiner Jugend 6 Jahre als Photograph und Retoucheur in Brasilien und wurde nach seiner Rückkehr Schüler von W. Diez. Er erlangte Berühmtheit weit über Deutschland hinaus als Tier-, besonders Katzenmaler, wobei die malerischen Qualitäten seiner Bildnisse und Tierbilder über dem gefälligen Motiv seiner Katzenbilder vielfach übersehen werden.
