Biographical Presentation
Müller: Johann Sebastian M., geb. zu Nürnberg 1715, erlernte daselbst die Kupferstecherkunst und studirte Botanik. Im J. 1744 siedelte er mit seinem Bruder Tobias nach England über und veröffentlichte ein ausgezeichnetes Kupferwerk: „An Illustration of the sexual System of Linnaeus“, London 1770—77, welches in 15 Heften des größten Folioformates 214 Kupfertafeln enthält. In England, wo er nach 1783 starb, nannte er sich John Miller.
