  • Biographical Presentation

    Prescher: Heinrich P., geboren zu Gaildorf am 19. November 1749, † am 26. Mai 1827, nachdem er etwas über 50 Jahre Pfarrer in Gschwend (württemb. O. A. Gaildorf) gewesen war. Eine für seine Zeit treffliche und vielfach als Muster benützte Monographie ist seine „Geschichte und Beschreibung der Reichsgrafschaft Limpurg“, 2 Thle., 1789—1790, welche auch die Geschichte der benachbarten Gebiete und Dynastieen, namentlich der Stadt Hall und des|Stifts Comburg, behandelt, während die von ihm begründeten Zeitschriften „Alt Germanien“ (1804—1805) und „Historische Blätter“ (1818) bald erloschen.
