Biographical Presentation
Mischke: Johannes M., geb. 1679 zu Rawitzsch in Groß-Polen, war Pastor in Schlesien und im Voigtlande und ward sodann Inspector der deutschen Schule zu Halle, als welcher er am 29. October 1734 starb. Von ihm giebt es einige geistliche Lieder, die nach seinem Tode in den Wernigeroder Gesangbüchern und unter den Cöthnischen Liedern veröffentlicht sind; ob sie schon früher gedruckt sind, steht noch dahin.
