Biographical Presentation
Berlich: Burkard B., geb. 23. April 1603 zu Frauen-Prießnitz, studirte in Jena; hält seit 1624 juristische Vorlesungen, bildet sich dann unter Leitung seines Oheims Matthias B. in Leipzig zum Praktiker aus, wird Rathsherr und Stadtrichter, geht 1637 nach Dresden und tritt in die Dienste Kurfürst Johann Georg I. von Sachsen, 1651 zum Hofrath befördert, 1652 Pfalzgraf. Unter Kurfürst Joh. Georg II. in Ungnade, † 1. Aug. 1670.
