    Agthe: Karl Christian A., fürstl. bernburgischer Organist zu Ballenstädt, geb. zu Hettstädt 1762, † zu Ballenstädt 27. Nov. 1797. Er war ein guter Orgelspieler und um 1784 wurden nachstehende Operetten von seiner Composition gegeben: „Alcontius und Cydippe"; „Das Milchmädchen"; „Martin Velten"; „Erwin und Elmire"; „Divertissement zu Philemon und Baucis"; denen 1795 noch der „Spiegelritter“ nachfolgte. Gedruckt sind von ihm: Lieder 1782; „Morgen, Mittag, Abend und Nacht“, lyrisches Gemälde für Gesang und Clavier, 1784; 3 Clavier-Sonaten 1790. — (S. Gerber.)
