  • Biography

    König: Heinrich Johann Otto K., Rechtsgelehrter, geb. am 3. März 1748 zu Marburg, studirte daselbst, 1771 Doktor der Rechte in Halle, 1788 ordentl. Professor und Beisitzer, starb am 11. Februar 1820. Er schrieb ein Werk über Leben und Schriften seines Stiefvaters Joh. Tob. Carrach (A. D. B. Bd. IV. S. 26), gab auch einige Schriften desselben heraus, ebenso Brunnquell's (A. D. B. III, 448) Opuscula. Bekannt ist er hauptsächlich durch „Lehrbuch d. allg. jur. Literatur“ Halle 1785 — „Grundriß des Kirchenrechts der Katholiken und Protestanten in Deutschland, mit Beziehung auf Wiesens Grundriß“, 1807 — „Grundriß des deutschen Staats- u. Völkerrechts mit Beziehung auf Pütter's Institutionen und Leist's Lehrbuch des Völkerrechts“ Halle 1807.
