Biographical Presentation
Johann von Köln und sein Sohn Simon, Baumeister, wurden 1442 von Alphonso di Cartagena, Bischof von Burgos, bei seiner Rückkehr vom Baseler Concil, von Köln mit nach Spanien genommen, um die Thürme seiner Kathedralkirche zu vollenden. Sie führten diese Aufgabe aus und zwar die Helme nach dem Plane des Kölner Domes. Auch die prächtige Karthause zu Miraflores bei Burgos erbauten sie.
