Biographical Presentation
A. studierte bei den Jesuiten in Dillingen (1651–57) und Ingolstadt (1658). Er wurde 1655 Kanonikus in Ellwangen und Augsburg, 1667 Dekan und 1668 Statthalter zu Ellwangen, 1671 auch noch Domdekan in Augsburg. Bedeutsam wurde er durch seine Freundschaft mit dem Jesuitenpater Philipp Jeningen für die Rekatholisierung des nordöstlichen Schwaben. Er baute die Wallfahrtskirche auf den Schönenberg bei Ellwangen und besaß eine bedeutsame Bibliothek, sowie mathematische Instrumente, die er dem Stiftskapitel Ellwangen vermachte.
