Biographical Presentation
Grabe: Martin Sylvester G., geb. am 14. Juli 1674 zu Königsberg, † am 5. Dec. 1727 ebendaselbst, ein Arzt, jüngerer Bruder des Johann G. Er studirte in seiner Vaterstadt Medicin und erlangte in Leiden 1700 die medicinische Doctorwürde. Im J. 1703 ward er erster Bibliothekar der Schloßbibliothek in Königsberg und verfaßte als solcher ein Verzeichniß der Bücher und der Radziwill’schen Verlassenschaft 1712. Er ward auch königlicher Rath und Leibmedicus. Seine medicinischen Schriften sind unbedeutend.
