    Forcade: Friedr. Wilh. v. F., Seigneur de Biaix, königl. preußischer Generallieutenant, Chef des Infanterieregiments Nr. 23, geb. in Berlin 1699, gest. ebendaselbst 23. März 1765; ein Mann ganz nach dem Herzen seines Kriegsherrn. Auch beim feindlichen Heere hatte der Name „Forcade“ achtungsvollen Klang. Siehe des Königs Schreiben an die Wittwe dieses Generals im 18. Bande der Oeuvres und einen königlichen Brief an den Generalmajor v. Wobersnow den 31. Mai 1759 in K. v. Schöning „Der siebenjährige Krieg“ Bd. II, 72. Eine biographische Skizze über F. findet man in den Jahrbüchern der deutschen Armee und Marine, Jahrgang 1876.
