Biographical Presentation
Eisenlohr: Otto E., Vetter von Wilhelm E., geb. 3. Sept. 1806 zu Karlsruhe, war von 1830—38 Privatdocent an der Universität Heidelberg und zog sich sodann ins Privatleben nach seiner Geburtsstadt zurück; er starb am 25. Juli 1853 im Bad Antogast. Unter seinen größtentheils meteorologischen Arbeiten, welche theils besonders theils in Poggendorff's Annalen erschienen, sind namentlich hervorzuheben: „Ueber das Klima und die Witterungsverhältnisse von Karlsruhe", 1832; „Vermuthliche Witterung und deren Einfluß auf die Culturpflanzen für die Jahre 1846—53“, 8 Jahrgänge, 1845—52; „Untersuchung über den Werth der Wetterregeln“, 1847.
