  • Biographical Presentation

    Außer den unten behandelten Mitgliedern der Familie verdient noch Erwähnung der Professor für Wasserkraftmaschinenbau in Darmstadt und München →Rudolf (1869–1921). Er erbaute die erste deutsche Schnelläuferturbine und führte 1902 den Begriff der spezifischen Drehzahl ein, mit deren Hilfe sämtliche Wasserkraftmaschinen nach ihrer Schnelläufigkeit verglichen werden können.
