Biographical Presentation
Die Familie stammt aus Westfalen. Hans D. genannt Kürisser (1485–1548) war kaiserlicher Hauptmann, dann Gograf zu Bevergerne. Sein Enkel Johann (1563–1629), Landrichter in Lingen, wurde mit seiner Familie reformiert und wanderte nach Oberyssel aus. Er ist der Großvater des „Siebengestirns“, das 1689 in den Adels-, 1695 in den Freiherrnstand erhoben wurde.
