  • Biographical Presentation

    Die Familie läßt sich bis ins 16. Jh. in Eriskirch (jetzt Ortsteil von Friedrichshafen) zurückverfolgen. Sie lebte von der Landwirtschaft, doch scheint es, als ob auch der Handel, die Nähe zu der alten bedeutenden Handelsstraße von der Ulm-Augsburger Gewerbelandschaft zum Bodensee, die Vorfahrenprägte.
