  • Biographical Presentation

    Nach praktischer pharmazeutischer Ausbildung und Studium in Leipzig war A. 1887-95 Apothekenverwalter und Betriebschemiker, darauf wissenschaftlicher Redakteur an der „Pharmazeutischen Zeitung“ in Berlin. 1908 gründete er in Chemnitz die Elisabeth-Apotheke, die er bis 1937 leitete und besonders durch die fabrikmäßige Herstellung neuer Präparate und die Erfindung neuer Arbeitsmethoden zur Blüte brachte. Seine Hauptbedeutung liegt in seinen zahlreichen Veröffentlichungen auf dem Gebiet der Pharmazie (Ausbildung, Arzneibuchwesen, Patentwesen) und Medizin.
