    Kölbl: Anton K., Radirer, geb. zu Wien am 24. Febr. 1771; † daselbst 1832, betrieb nach Vollendung der technischen Studien in seinen jüngeren Jahren die Kunst des Radirens, worin er es zu einer nicht unbedeutenden Vollkommenheit brachte. Seine Landschaften, meist Waldpartien und felsige Gegenden mit Staffagen sind von großem Reiz. Er besaß auch eine sehr bedeutende Sammlung von Radirungen und Kupferstichen. Er starb als Drahtzeugverwalter im k. k. Hauptmünzamte.
