  • Biographical Presentation

    A. war kaiserlicher Theateringenieur und Hoftheaterzeichner in Wien. Zusammen mit seinem Vater und Bruder erstellte er die Innenausstattung der Stiftskirche in Wilhering (Oberdonau), die mit zu den großartigsten Rokokoleistungen Österreichs gehört (um 1740). Von seinen Entwürfen wurden u. a. der Fassadenvorbau für St. Peter in Wien 1751-53 und der Gartentrakt des Schwarzenbergpalais ausgeführt. In Krummau an der Moldau baute A. 1748 im Hofgarten eine Winterreitschule und richtete dort 1762 ein kunstvolles Wasserspiel im Sinne des Rokoko ein.
