    Thanner: Franz Ignaz Th., katholischer Philosoph und Anhänger der Schelling’schen Identitätslehre, geboren am 9. Februar 1770 zu Neumarkt a. d. Rott, starb 1825 zu Salzburg als Professor am dortigen Lyceum, nachdem er vorher in Landshut und Innsbruck Philosophie gelehrt hatte. Seine nennenswerthesten Schriften sind: „Versuch einer möglichst süßlichen Darstellung der absoluten Identitätslehre“ (München 1810), „Lehrbuch der theoretischen Philosophie etc.“, 2 Theile (Salzburg 1811—12). „Lehr- und Handbuch der praktischen Philosophie“, I. Th. (Salzburg 1811).
