Biographical Presentation
Albinus: Michael A., alias Weiß, war Pastor an der St. Katharinenkirche in Danzig. Seine „heiligen Lieb- und Loblieder“ 1648 gehören zu den besseren geistlichen Gedichten; sonst zählt er zu den gewöhnlichen Versmachern jener Tage, wollte auch weniger als Poet dichten, da er wisse, was einen rechten Poeten mache, denn als einer, der gern wie ein Christ lebe.
