    Eberhard: Johann Paul E., geb. 23. Jan. 1723 zu Altona, † 1795 wahrscheinlich zu Göttingen, wo er seit 1753 als Privatdocent der angewandten Mathematik thätig war, nachdem er vorher gräfl. Stolberg-Wernigerode’scher Architekt gewesen, auch als Lehrer in Helmstädt und Halle sich versucht hatte. Er schrieb einige Abhandlungen, welche auf praktische Geometrie sich beziehen, und entwarf Landkärtchen der Göttinger Umgegend. Er war der Sohn Christophs (s. o.) und der ältere Bruder Johann Peter Eberhard's.
