  • Biographical Presentation

    Zan: Bernhard Z., Goldschmiedgesell, lebte um 1580 in Nürnberg und stand mit dem Goldschmied Stephan Hermann in Ansbach in Verbindung. Er verfertigte zwei noch heute als Vorlagen sehr geschätzte Folgen gepuntzter Goldschmiedsmuster, von denen die eine Muster für Becher, die andere solche für Becher, Pokale, Krüge, Schaalen u. s. w. mit Menschen- und Thierköpfen, Fruchtbouquetts, Blumen und Laubwerk, Roll- und Schweifarabesken enthielt.
