Biographical Presentation
Kohl: Hieronymus K., Bildhauer, wirkte als solcher zu Prag um den Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts. Bekannte Werke von ihm sind: Der Hochaltar nebst zwei Seitenaltären in der Decanalkirche zu Laun, bestellt im Jahre 1701, ferner die Statuen St. Augustinus und St. Nicolaus von Tolentino, auf der Prager Karlsbrücke. Seine Arbeiten stehen zwar hinter jenen von Ferd. Brokoff, zeigen indeß doch einen wohlgeschulten Praktiker.
