Biographical Presentation
Heere: Lucas de H., Maler und Dichter zu Gent, geb. 1534, † 1584. Aus einer Künstlerfamilie stammend und auf Reisen durch Frankreich und England gebildet, widmete er sich vorzüglich der Portraitmalerei. 1565 ließ er den „Hof en Boomgaert der Poesyen“ und „Psalmen Davids liedekenswijs in dichte gestelt op de voysen en mate van Clement Marot“ zu Gent erscheinen.
