    Stryk: Elias August St., Jurist, Bruderssohn Samuel's (s. u.), ist geboren zu Lentzen im Brandenburgischen, promovirte unter seinem Onkel zu Frankfurt a. O. 1687, wurde darauf kurbrandenburgischer Kammeradvocat zu Berlin, 1688 außerordentlicher Professor der Rechte zu Kiel, war ebendort 1693—97 ordentlicher Professor, ging 1698 als kurbraunschweigischer Rath nach Hannover und ist als solcher 1733 gestorben. Von seinen Dissertationen ist wol die wissenschaftlich bedeutendste die „Disquisitio forensis de efficacia renuntiationis fori hodierna ad leg. 29 D. de pactis, contra communem Practicorum Germanorum et Italorum opinionem defensa“ (Frankfurt 1688), besprochen in den Acta Eruditorum, März 1689, S. 134—137. Wegen ihres Themas seien genannt die beiden: „Disp. de eo quod justum est circa ludos scenicos operasque modernas vulgo dictas 'Operen'“ (Kiel 1693), zu Gunsten des Schauspiels und der Schauspieler; und „Diss. de jure Novellarum, d. i. Von neuen Zeitungen“ (Kiel 1697).
