    Haren: Franz Rütger v. H., Jurist, geboren zu Betau in Holland, gestorben am 14. October 1724 in Mainz, erscheint bereits am 2. Januar 1676 als Stiftsherr von St. Peter in Mainz, 1680 licent. jur. und am 16. August desselben Jahres ordentlicher Professor der Rechte, las über canonisches Lehn- und bürgerliches Recht, war apostolischer Protonotar, kaiserlicher Pfalzgraf und zuletzt Kanzler der Universität. Von seinen zahlreichen (23) Schriften mögen angeführt werden: „De foro competente", 1702. „De rebus eccl. alienandis vel non et de periculo et commodis rei venditae“, 1709. „Materia promiscua ex utroque jure“, 1711.
