  • Biographical Presentation

    A. studierte in Helmstedt, war am Reichskammergericht in Wetzlar tätig und wurde 1736 zum Kammerrat in Hannover berufen. 1745 ging er als kur-hannoverischer Gesandter nach Dresden, 1754 als Landdrost und Konsistorialpräsident nach Ratzeburg. 1771 ernannte ihn König Georg III. von England zum Wirklichen Geheimen Staatsminister und berief ihn als „Chef der Deutschen Kanzlei“ (Minister für die hannoverischen Angelegenheiten) nach London.
