  • Biographical Presentation

    Jerung: Heinrich J., ein theologischer Schriftsteller des 15. Jahrhunderts, war Syndicus der Stadt Nürnberg und Magister. Er verfaßte ein für jene Zeit verdienstliches, jetzt aber zu den typographischen Seltenheiten gehörendes biblisches Wörterbuch in lateinischer Sprache unter dem Titel: „Elucidarius scripturarum“ (gedruckt zu Nürnberg 1476 in sol.). In der von einem Anderen geschriebenen Vorrede wird er als ein bereits Verstorbener erwähnt.
