    Geraert, Franciscaner von S. Trond, dichtete im 14. Jahrhundert nach dem Lateinischen des Thomas Cantimpratensis die Lebensgeschichten der h. Christina von S. Trond (herausgegeben von J. H. Bormans, Gent 1850) und der h. Liutgard von Tongern (herausgegeben von demselben in De Dietsche Warande III, Amsterdam 1857). Ueber die beiden Heiligen vgl. Preger, Gesch d. deutschen Mystik im M.A. I, 60 ff. — Ein anderer Dichter ist Bruder G. van Lienhout, der zu Gent im Stile Maerlants ein astronomisch-meteorologisches Lehrgedicht verfaßte (herausgegeben von J. Clarisse, Leiden 1847, Nieuwe Reeks van Werken van de Maatschappy van nederlandsche Letterkunde IV).
