    Dorp: Friedrich van D., niederländischer Krieger, geb. 1547 in Ost-Friesland, Neffe des vorigen und, wie dieser, Wassergeuse, trat in den Kriegsdienst der Union, commandirte 1593 in Hulst, das er nicht zu behaupten vermochte, und 1602 in Ostende; 1606 war er im Dienst der Herzoge von Lüneburg bei der Belagerung Braunschweigs. Er starb 1610 als Gouverneur von Tholen.
