  • Biographical Presentation

Museen in Berlin (Ein Mani-Fund in Ägypten, in: SB d. preuß. Ak. d. Wiss., phil.-hist. H. J. P. u. A. Böhlig, 1934–10).

1933 folgte P. einem Ruf auf die Hebr. Univ. Gurage, s. Notes on Gurage grammar, 1951) sowie mit neusyr. Dialekten. Den größten Ruhm brachten ihm seine Studien des klassischen Ägyptisch (Egyptian tenses, Proceedings of the Israel Ac. of Sciences and Humanities, II/5, 1965).
