    Peutinger: Ulrich P., Benedictiner, geboren am 8. Juni 1751 zu Inningen bei Augsburg, † 12. Juni 1817 zu Irrsee bei Augsburg. Er legte 22. November 1772 in der Benedictiner-Abtei Irrste die Gelübde ab, wurde 1776 zum Priester geweiht, war einige Zeit Professor der Philosophie in Irrsee, 1793—1804 Professor der Dogmatik in Salzburg, 1804 in dem Stifte Wiblingen und kehrte dann nach Irrsee zurück. Er hat geschrieben: „Σκιαγραϕία universi juris canonici“, 1779; „Religion, Offenbarung und Kirche in der reinen Vernunft aufgesucht“, 1795, „Geschichte der Kirche“, 1. (einziger) Band 1802 und einige Dissertationen, von denen die „De mutata theologia et immutabili ecclesiae fide“, 1797 die interessanteste sein wird.
