  • Biographical Presentation

    A. war 1826-35 badischer Geschäftsträger in Wien, dann in Paris, Ministerresident in München 1838-43 und 1846-56 Gesandter in Wien. Im Ruhestand schrieb er „Mein Tagebuch“ (2 Bände, 1862), eine gute Schilderung des Lebens eines kleinstaatlichen Diplomaten. Als streng konservativer Katholik schrieb er auch viel für die Kirche.
