    Bangen: Johann Heinrich B., Canonist, geb. zu Rhede am Niederrhein 1823, Priester 1849, durch mehrere Jahre in Rom im Studium der Congregatio Concilii, 1854 Assessor des Generalvicariats zu Münster, 1862 daselbst Domcapitular, gest. in Tivoli bei Rom 31. Oct. 1865. Er schrieb: „Die römische Curie, ihre gegenw. Zusammensetzung und ihr Geschäftsgang“, 1854; „Instructio practica de sponsalibus et matrimonio, 4 fasc. 1858—60.
