    Weinmann: Johannes W., gelehrter Praktiker des 15.—16. Jahrhunderts, geboren 1461 in Frankfurt, studirte auf deutschen und italienischen Universitäten, besonders in Bologna, erlangte an letztgenanntem Orte die Doctorwürde, wurde, in die Heimath zurückgekehrt (1486), zum Leibarzt des Markgrafen von Anspach ernannt und war in dieser Stellung bis zu seinem 1531 erfolgten Tode thätig. Daß er schriftstellerisch thätig gewesen sei, weiß die hier citirte Quelle nicht zu melden.
