    Tollmann **)Zu Bd. XXXVIII, S. 427.: Gottfried T., geboren am 26. October 1680 zu Lauban, wo sein Vater Schneider war, besuchte er die lateinische Schule daselbst und studirte sodann in Leipzig Theologie. Im J. 1711 ward er Pfarrer zu Leuba bei Görlitz, in welchem Amte er 55 Jahre, bis zu seinem am 6. März 1766 erfolgenden Tode verblieb. Er gab heraus: „Bequemes Gesangbuch voll alter und neuer geistlicher Lieder“ (Lauban 1719, 2. Aufl. 1724), das in seinem Pfarrdorfe von ihm eingeführt ward. Eine nicht ganz geringe Verbreitung hat das von ihm gedichtete Erntelied: „Die Ernt ist nun zu Ende, der Segen eingebracht“ gefunden.
