    Schauroth: Eberhard Christian Wilhelm v. S. (Schaurod), Legationssecretär, geboren zu Stuttgart gen Schluß des 17. oder Anfang des 18. Jahrhunderts,nach den Stuttgarter Kirchenbüchern am 22. October 1720 getauft, † zu Hornberg 1766. — S. machte seine Studien zu Halle, und lebte in den vierziger Jahren des vorigen Jahrhunderts längere Zeit als württembergischer Legationssecretär am Reichstage zu Regensburg. Dort veranstaltete er eine „Sammlung aller Conclusionen, Schreiben und anderer übrigen Verhandlungen des hochpreislichen Corporis Evangelicorum — vom Anfange des jetzt fürwährenden hochansehnlichen Reichsconventes bis auf die gegenwärtigen Zeiten“. Das fleißig und gründlich gearbeitete Werk umfaßt 3 Foliobände, von denen der erste 1751 zu Regensburg, die beiden folgenden ebendort 1752 und 53 erschienen. — Zuletzt wurde S. adeliger württemb. Regierungsrath und Oberamtmann zu Hornberg, wo er 1766 mit Tod abging.
