    Sannig: Bernhard S., Theolog und Kanonist, geboren im J. 1638 zu Neisse in Schlesien aus einer adeligen Familie, (ein C. T. v. Sannig starb am 22. Januar 1686 in Breslau, Univ.-Lex. XXXIII, 2047), † zu Znaim in Mähren. Er war ohne Zweifel bei den Franciscanern nach Vorbildung auf deren Anstalt jung eingetreten, eine Zeit lang Lector des Kanonischen Rechts im Convente Maria-Schnee zu Prag, Generalvicar der Provinz, wiederholt Provinzial der böhmischen Ordensprovinz (z. B. am 28. Mai 1684). Das Jahr seines Todes ist nicht bekannt. Schriften: „Schola canonica seu universum ius canonicum nova methodo digestam.“ Prag 1686, neu 1696, 1727. 2 vol. fol.; „Schola controversistica adversus haereticos omnes veteres et novos.“ ib. 1686, 2 P.; „Rituale ecclesiasticum.“ 5. Aufl. Colon. 1711, zuletzt 1755. Die hierzu gehörige „Collectio s. apparatus absolutionum, benedictionum, conjurationum etc.“ ist nicht in den Index gekommen, obwohl sie nicht approbirt ist (Reusch, Index II, 219).
