    Rupp: Joh. Georg R., geboren am 7. Februar 1797 in Reutlingen, † daselbst am 1. März 1883, städtischer Bauinspector und später Baurath, beschäftigte sich besonders mit gothischer Baukunst und war bei der ersten Restauration der Reutlinger Marienkirche, wie auch als Beirath des Ulmer Münsterbaus thätig. Die bekanntesten seiner Bauten sind Schloß Lichtenstein, Schloß Hohenmühringen, Schloß Haunsheim bei Dillingen. Außerdem können erwähnt werden das frühere Schwefelbad Boll und die Kirchen in Gönningen, Bodelhausen und Baisingen.
