Biographical Presentation
Vom 16. bis zum 18. Jh. stellte die Familie zahlreiche Professoren an der philosophischen, der medizinischen und der juristischen Fakultät der Univ. Tübingen. Erwähnung verdienen u. a. die Mediziner →Daniel (1546–1603, s. BLÄ), sein Sohn →Johann Ludwig (1585–1625) und dessen Sohn gleichen →Namens (1613–93), sowie →Christian Ludwig (1715–62, s. ADB 22; BLÄ), ferner die Juristen →Jacob David (1680–1729) und →Johann Friedrich (1690–1766).
