    Bibra: Kilian von B., einer der tüchtigsten und geschäftsgewandtesten Männer seiner Zeit, ward frühzeitig 1443 Domherr zu Würzburg und scheint seine Studien in Italien gemacht zu haben. Er war Decretorum Doctor, zugleich 1476 Propst des Stiftes Neumünster, 1483 Dompropst in Würzburg, 1486 Generalvicar des Bischofs Rudolf von Scherenberg. B. war ein Mann des allgemeinen Vertrauens, wie solches schon seine Missionen zu dem König von Böhmen 1462, nach Rom wegen Bestätigung des Bischofs Rudolf 1466, sowie die vielen ihm aufgetragenen Vermittelungen zwischen Fürsten, Grafen und Ritterschaft anzeigen. Das Bisthum leitete er an Bischof Rudolfs Seite mit fester Hand, und sein Antheil an der trefflichen Landesregierung dieses Fürsten war kein geringer. Er † in Würzburg 3. — nach Anderen 13. — Febr. 1494.
