    Brosius: Johannes Thomas B., I. U. D., jülich-bergischer Geheimer Rath und Vicekanzler unter Kurfürst Johann Wilhelm, schrieb im Gegensatz zu W. Teschenmacher vom römisch-katholischen Standpunkt aus Annalen von Jülich und Berg, welche sein Schwiegersohn Adam Michael Mappius herausgab: „Juliae Montiumque Comitum, Marchionum et Ducum Annalium — Tomus I—III.“ Col.       |Der Verfasser der von Mappius herausgegebenen „Annales“ hieß Brosii (nicht Brosius), wie aus den „Dedicationes“ zu Band I, II und III dieser Annalen hervorgeht. — Eigentlicher Verfasser derselben ist übrigens Johann Büchels, kurpfälzischer Bibliothekar zu Heidelberg (geb. 1659 zu Linnich, † am 29.
