Biographical Presentation
Martini: Georg Heinrich M., geb. in Tanneberg bei Meißen im J. 1722, studirte in Leipzig und empfing, wie es scheint, hauptsächlich Anregung von Christ. 1751 habilitirte er sich in Leipzig als Privatdocent, 1760 wurde er Rector in Annaberg, 1763 in Regensburg. Er starb als Rector der Nikolaischule in Leipzig. Heut ist sein Name wol nur durch seine Bearbeitung von Ernesti's Archaeologia literaria (Leipzig 1790) bekannt.
